I got to give Mrs. DePew 2 coupons-sweet baby Riley was born this a.m. so I know they'll be using those soon!!! :) I also gave her some baby lotions & shampoos (you know the ones-the ones that smell so good & remind you of that sweet, new baby smell & it automatically makes you smile) b/c I realized we hadn't used them in over 2 yrs. b/c Miss Mady uses "real" shampoo. *Sigh* ;)
Trunk-or-Treat was this week & it was AWESOME! Mrs. Martin & the committee did such a WONDERFUL job this year! My kids brought in 13 bags of candy this week. My head room mom did SUCH a WONDERFUL job with our car! Everything turned out GREAT! :)
Mrs. Martin & Riley Kate gave Mady a fun new pair of tennis shoes-Mady LOVES them-they are gray & pink & have Velcro-SO AWESOME! :)
Taygen brought me a cute Halloween pencil. :) She also shared her jacket w/ Jackson on the field trip because he left his at school & she said she was warm. :) She comes by her kindness honestly b/c her dad-Todd bought me a hot cocoa on the field trip-it was WONDERFUL b/c I was FREEZING! They are SUCH a SWEET family! :) I also appreciated all off the other chaperones that came-I had 7 parents come-it made my job SO MUCH easier! :)
Aaliyah & her Mom made the class some chocolate treats. YUMMY! :)
My Mom & Boo made brownies for the Cake Walk for her Fall Festival. It was SO HELPFUL b/c Mady had dance that night so it saved me A LOT of time! :) My mom also hemmed two pairs of pants for me-this is VERY HELPFUL b/c these are the only long pants I had & baby it's COLD out there! ;)
My friend Mrs. Stewart needed a pill container to help her remember to take her medicine. I had an extra one so I gave it to her. :) I also went & got us our fav-a Spicy Chicken Biscuit from CFA on payday this week-YUMMY! :) Mady also let Miles have a bag to carry for Trunk or Treat. :)
Mrs. Moody gave Mady & I tickets to the circus we got to go today & had the BEST time-it was SO SWEET of her! :)
This week we were working on "friendly letters" in writing so my kiddos & I decided to write Miss Ellyn-our missionary friend in Africa. :)
Alas, I have been forgetting to thank another one of volunteers-our book backpack volunteer-they have come in every week to switch out my kids backpack books that they take home & read. They have been coming in for 2 months now! They are SO AWESOME! :) Mr. Preston & Mr. Myers came in this week too. :)
We also did our weekly recycling for K & 1st grade this week. :)
