Well 3rd-5th grade have wrapped up their TCAP wk & now it's our turn for SAT10! We got LOTS of SAT10 goodies from our TCAP partners this wk. :) They made each kiddo a note. They made a banner & posters for us to cover up our testing stuff with & they gave us waters & pretzels for snacks. They also gave my kiddos test tips & told them not to stress-they were SO SWEET! :) This enabled me to give my extra waters to Mrs. Smith for her class. :)
Mrs. Smith brought a VERY HEAVY book order to my room for me when I had car rider duty-she's always SO GOOD to me! :)
During K Roundup our sweet, sweet nurse loaned me a stamp for a self-addressed, stamped envelope for Mady's K packet that I had TOTALLY forgotten. I FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY remembered to pay her back the stamp this wk! (Almost a month later!) :P
I left my Secret Pal a cute little notepad to celebrate the beginning of May which = the LAST month of school! :) I gave her another clue about my identity-I wonder if she's figured out who I am yet? ;)
Mrs. Sebastian & Mrs. DePew gave me some left over Smarties for Mady. I'm keeping them in my purse (for emergencies). ;)
Mrs. Crawford loaned me a book I've been wanting to read. I can't wait to read it this summer. :)
I got 8 love notes this wk-I think the kids have been a little bored. LOL! ;) I think they have also realized that our remaining time together isn't that much longer. :P
We got bagels one morning this week & Chuy's today as TCAP treats-they were both SO YUMMY! It was SO SWEET of them to do that for our school! :)
Taygen brought in some treasures for our treasure bin which was GREAT b/c we were running dangerously low! :) She also made this super soft, suvvy pom pom for Mady. It's Mady's new favorite sleepy time "soother". :) I told Taygen I knew EXACTLY what Mady would do with it as soon as I gave it to her-rub it on her check & that's EXACTLY what she DID do! LOL! ;)
Mrs. Brown gave me the SWEETEST BD/End of the Year gift-she gave me an ITunes card, not just for me but Mady too for our trip out West-how INCREDIBLY SWEET is that?!? She even gave one to Mrs. Smith for helping out with Dylan. She is truly an inspiration to me! :)
Today was Maykayla's BD & her Mom brought in Frozen (of course) cupcakes. She brought in a SPECIAL cupcake for Mady! How INCREDIBLY THOUGHTFUL was that?!? Mady was a VERY HAPPY girl when I gave it to her when I got home this afternoon! :)
Next week is Teacher Appreciation week & I'm on the Community Outreach Committee so this wk we tried to round up some "treats" for our teachers from our Partners in Education. My job was to call Wendys & they VERY GENEROUSLY donated a coupon for a free salad for ALL the teachers @ our school & the pre-school. Isn't that awesome?!? :)
I got to do a favor for SWEET Mrs. Scholomer-she had a kiddo that couldn't go to the zoo today so I let him hang out w/ us all day. He was very sweet & he behaved wonderfully. :)
Finally, we did our regular recycling for K & 1st grade. :)
