Mother's Day & Our Last Full Week! (2,920)

It's the last full week of school & we couldn't be busier!  :)
My Mom took Mady & I out for shakes last weekend @ Sonic-yummy!  :)
Last week I forgot to include the awesome gifts the kiddos made for their mothers.  They made a beautiful flower pic, a card, a note & a flower.  They were busy, busy, busy!  :)  We got to take my sweet mamma out for a Mother's Day dinner @ Aubreys & give her a gift card-what a special treat for the girlies in our family!  :)  Mady made me a couple of cards, a french toast brunch & a yummy eclair (or as Mady calls it a "declare".) ;)  I got to share the eclair w/ Mrs. Smith for lunch one day.  I also got to share some pizza from our pizza party w/ her & her family. :)  I also loaned her some bags for her kids end of the year presents.  :)
Steele brought me the cutest bag with lotion & soap-I LOVED the soap but I especially loved the  bag & am going to use it a lot!  :)
We've been having lots of fun this week & one of the things we've done is make flubber.  Mrs. Russell was nice enough to let us use her glue so we shared all of our other supplies w/ Mrs. Coode, Mrs. Williams & Mrs. Russell of course-the kids were AMAZED when it ACTUALLY turned into flubber!  (They thought their teacher was pretty cool!)  ;)
Mady took her End of the Year gifts to her teachers this week:  flowers w/ rulers on them that said, "Thanks for helping me GROW!", packets of Thank-You cards & gift cards.  She has grown by leaps & bounds this year & we are going to miss her pre-school teachers SO much!
I got 4 love notes this week.  :)  We also made a BD card for Brody's sister, a Get Well card for Steele's Mom (she broke her foot-ouch!) and of their own volition-the girls made a "Cedar Bluff Rocks" card for Mrs. Dowell.  ;)  We also sent a Happy Anniversary card to my little brother & his wife Marfi.  :)
Miss Sloan was cleaning out & gave away some paint-I already have some cool plans for that & Mady this summer!  ;)  As I was cleaning out, I found some stuff from Mrs. DePew's wedding shower & I gave it to her so she could use it for her class luau party next week.  :)  I also found two sets of some Math manipulatives & I gave one to Mrs. Smith.  I gave a bunch of safety pins to Mrs. Goodwin (for consigning) since we don't need them anymore for field day-they have AWESOME new shirts now where we actually write everything on the shirt-SUPER DUPER COOL!  :)
It is that CRAZY, INSANE time of year when EVERYTHING has to be done & my sweet, sweet mamma has braved the insaneness TWICE this week to come & help me clean, organize etc.  I honestly don't know what I'd do w/o her!  :)  As we've been cleaning out we've been having daily "give aways" for the kiddos-they LOVE it (I'm not sure their parents will though!) ;)
Mrs. Smith's son Gavin had Field Day on Wednesday so we invited her class to come over & watch Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory w/ us so she could go watch him.  She's going to return the favor for me next week so I can go to Mady's End of the Year luncheon.  What else would Best Friends do for each other?  ;)
My AWESOME secret pal gave me her last gift & finally revealed herself-it was Mrs. Lawson! I would never have guessed!  I had to thank her for being such an AWESOME  Secret Pal!  :)  I gave her a baby coupon as well.  :)
I have had the honor of working with Mrs. Coode this year in two different maternity spots & I gave her a card to tell her how much I've enjoyed it!  :)  I did the same for Mrs. Scholomer too.  :)
A computer guy came out & fixed our volume-YEAH & my computer so I can actually log out/in @ home-STELLAR!  The kids were SO EXCITED about FINALLY having decent volume for their movies that they wanted to know how he knew to come & I told them I called him on his "bat phone" or sent a "bat signal" to him.  Then they wanted to know where he had parked his Batmobile-I told them "in the parking lot of course."  I don't know who got a bigger kick out of that the kids or him!  ;)
I gave Mrs. Bock some pipe cleaner so she didn't have to leave on her lunch break to go get some.
I donated some OJ for the volunteer breakfast last week & some D. Coke to the retirement celebration for next week.
Mrs. DePew & Sebastian gave me some sunscreen for Mady, that will definitely be put to good use this summer!  :)  Our parents donated money so we could have a pizza party today to celebrate all of the kiddos awesome accomplishments this year-I am SO PROUD of everything they have done-they ROCK!
Finally, we did our regular K & 1 recycling.  :)
As the year is winding down we are keeping busy-I hope, hope, hope we make it to 3,000 before the end of school!  :)
