It's warmed up a bit & we've actually almost completed one whole complete week of school! ;) We've been VERY BUSY this week! :)
Makayla sent in a bag of treasure box goodies which was great b/c we were running low. :) We had a student send in extra school supplies which we really needed. :) I got 3 love notes from my kiddos-these always brighten my day & make me so happy. :) Shayla S. brought in a lucky rabbit's foot for me to have. :)
I gave Mrs. Crawford some owl (her fav.) wrapping paper I had. :)
We sent 10 cards to the elderly members of my Mom's church. :)
My FAVORITE thing we did this week was send Mrs. Winton (a mother of one of my Mom's friends) BD cards in a preview of our 100th day of school coming up. She will be 106 on her BD!!! The kids said (in voices of awe) "Mrs. Holloway! She's older than YOU!" *Just a little boys & girls! Just a little!* LOL! They also thought it was QUITE IMPRESSIVE that she was 100 years older than some of them! :)
Mrs. Smith helped me out with a stressful situation today & I REALLY appreciated it! She's such a good friend to me, I don't know what I'd ever do w/o her! :)
We also had 4 faithful volunteers come in this week! What would I ever do w/o them? (I hope I never have to find out!) ;)
Finally, I won't be @ school tomorrow b/c of Mady's 5 yr. old checkup so we went ahead & recycled today for K & 1st grade. :)
We got a new student & I've been SO PROUD of my kiddos & how welcoming/helpful they have been to her! :)
I've got some cards planned for next week if we get to them. :) I was super excited to find out our friend Miss Ellyn (a missionary in Africa) got some of the kiddo's cards this week-she was SO EXCITED/HAPPY which of course made ME SO HAPPY! :)
