Week 11 (724)

I got a sweet card & treat from my BFF Mrs. Smith.  :)  I got 6 love notes from my kiddos this week. 

We made a Get Well card for Jaquan-he has pneumonia.  I washed Mrs. Huff's field trip shirts for her so she wouldn't have to.  :)  We did our final giving plate this week & gave it to Mrs. B (Mady's idea).  I also gave a cupcake to my Secret Pal.  Finally, we did our weekly recycling.  :)

Week 10-Fall Break (687)

   This was a short week due to Fall Break.  :)

   Mady was given a sweet Care Bear present from Mason-that was SUPER sweet!  :)
   We gave some friends that got married last weekend a Congrats card.  :)  We also sent a Congrats card to some people we know that are going to have a baby.  :)  We donated two sets of Pop Tabs to the Student Council so they can donate them to the Ronald McDonald house.  :)  Mady donated (unwittingly) some prizes to the Prize Bin.  :)  We gave a Thinking of you card to Jacob's Dad-he lost someone close to him recently.  :(  Jacob's Mom sent in some stuff for our car for our Fancy Nancy Trunk or Treat car.  :)  We did our monthly cards for the octogenarians at my Mom's church.  :)  Mady got sick yesterday so I wasn't there to recycle today-we'll hopefully get to it next week!  :)

Week 9 (662)

   We had a busy week!  

   I forgot to mention last week for Teacher Appreciation week that we got 15 minute massages from Brown's Chiropractor-it was DIVINE!  :)  Mrs. Coode let me use her pencil sharpener twice this week. Mr. Holloway helped me grade papers this week so I could do some paperwork that I needed to turn in.  I got two love notes from my kiddos this week.  :)  Luke's family donated some books to our class.  :)  Mrs. Harkleroad loaned us a book to read for habitats this week.  :)  We had four AWESOME chaperones go on our field trip to Oakes Farm with us.  :)

   We gave Mrs. Huff a thinking of you card this week.  :)  We gave Mrs. Schaeffer some candy corn after we used it for Math-it's one of her favorite treats!  :)  I gave my Secret Pal a cute notepad for Fall Break this week.  :)  I gave Mrs. Crawford a coupon.  :)  We donated some pop tabs to Student Council so they could donate them to the Ronald McDonald house.  :)  I gave Mrs. Hall a Mountain Dew.  

   We recycled TWICE this week!

Week 8-Teacher Appreciation Week-and HOW! :) (600!)

This week was teacher appreciation week at school & oh my goodness did I EVER feel appreciated! We got so many coupons from area stores & the PTSA & Dr. Bob served us lunch twice this week-it was SO THOUGHTFUL & delicious!  :)  I was pampered BEYOND belief from all of my families this week:  I received goodies to eat, Post-It notes & pens, love notes from students & parents, smelly good stuff, gift cards AND flowers!  It was AMAZING!  

We couldn't let Teacher Appreciation go by w/o appreciating the most amazing K teacher we know so we tried to show her just a fraction of how much we love Mrs. Huff!  We sent her Post It notes, flowers, a love note & we took her breakfast this morning.  I hope she knows how much we appreciate her b/c we REALLY, REALLY DO!  :)

I gave Mrs. Lawson a coupon & a BD card.  I gave Mrs. Goodwin some safety pins to use when she consigns.  Mady & I made cute little "acorn" treats & we gave some to Mrs. Huff & my Secret Pal. We made a Thinking of You card for Brayden & his family; his great-grandfather passed away this week.  :(  Aditi brought in Box Tops for the class.

Mrs. Schippers let us borrow a copy of Johnny Appleseed.  Someone gave my Mom two coupons.  We gave her one as well.  My Mom worked ALL day in my classroom Thursday doing "housekeeping" stuff for me.  :)

Our students showed their appreciation to the other teachers in the school as well which made me SO VERY PROUD of them!  :)

It was a FANTASTIC week!  

We did not get to recycle today b/c it was raining this a.m. & I had a Dr. checkup this afternoon-hopefully we can get to it next week!
