Week 7-Getting Back in the Swing of Things! (537) Over 500! :)

I actually worked all week this week!  I'm SO glad to be back at it & getting back in the swing of things.  :)  

I got 7 love notes from my kiddos this week.  :)  I got a VERY SPECIAL love note from my very own Boo in my lunch box one day this week.  I LOVE that girl!  :)  I also got a VERY sweet card from Katie.  :)  Two of my kids also made cards for Mrs. Spikes.  :)  My kids sent two Get Well cards and a BD card this week.  :) Mrs. Fairclough's kids gave me some Get Well cards-it was SO SWEET!  I forgot to mention last week that Mrs. Vickers & Ms. Moody were SO SWEET & brought Mady & Shawn dinner from CFA one night at the hospital-it meant SO much to me that someone was taking care of my loves!  I also got a gift card for Outback from the CBES staff & one to Zaxby's from Mrs. Boyce.  My friends Shelly, Stephanie & Lindsey were SO INCREDIBLY helpful last week, I don't know what I would have done w/o them, I gave them all TY cards to know how much they meant to me!  :)

I had two friends bring me Great Clips coupons for my Mom & I gave her one as well.  :)  I went through my last coupon book & gave away 7 different sets of coupons.  :)  I gave Mrs. Vickers a baby food coupon for her sweet, little Barrett.  :)  

Four of my kids brought in Box Tops.  :)

Julius' Mom sent in some yummy dessert for me.  Mrs. Manhardt made us some banana bread & Katie's Mom sent in a yummy ham & cheese sandwich lunch for me today-all delish!  :)

Mrs. Schlomer let us borrow her Pigeon & If I Were a Minus sign books for SSs & Math this week.  

I got Mrs. Crawford a cute Halloween Owl notepad.  :)

We gave Mrs. Huff a BD present & brought her breakfast for her BD.  We LOVE Mrs. Huff!  :)  I gave my Secret Pal some lotion this week.  :)  

Mrs. Frizzell came in and volunteered for us this week & Mrs. Goodwin let me use her pencil sharpener this week.  

Finally, we got to recycle this week-man those bins were heavy after not recycling last week!  ;)

I am SO GLAD to be back at it!  :)

Week 6-Making a Girl Feel Loved! (464)

This has been a very INTERESTING week!  I got to experience first hand AOKs like crazy!  More about that in a minute!  

First-I gave some coupons from my multiple coupon books away.  We gave Mrs. Huff & my secret pal some "Happy Fall Y'all" cookie jars.  :) We had 3 parents donate prizes for our prize bin which was AWESOME b/c we were completely out!  :)

My Mom sewed a button on for me.  :)  I got a beautiful Salvation bracelet from my Secret Pal which gives me a clue to who it might be! ;)

Now to the BEST part of my week-this week I was hospitalized for pneumonia & man oh man did I see the AOKs pour in!!!  I got Get Well cards from my kids and Ms. Moody's Crew.  I got a Get Well card and money from 1st Grade teachers, Kelly Boyce and Jill Dew.  I also got a Get Well card & Cracker Barrell gift card from Mrs. Huff.  :)  All these people really know how to make a girl feel loved!!!  I sent TY cards to them & also to the staff of the hospital-they were AMAZING!  I'm glad to be home & feeling better & to get back into the swing of things next week!  :)

Week 5 :) (439)! :)

One of my favorite things we do at school has started:  Secret Pal!  I LOVE getting/giving treats!  I gave my pal a Reeses & her fav. drink.  :)  We gave the office some tissues.  :)  I gave Mrs. Lawson a coupon.  Mady loaned us two books for class this week.  :)  We did BD cards for the elderly people at my Mom's church.  I gave Mrs. DePew a coupon.  I burned two Dr. Jean CDs for Mrs. Schippers & her intern when I was burning one for Mady (she LOVES the CD Mrs. Huff has in her classroom.) 

Jalayiah brought me a Teacher cup & some candy-it was SO very sweet!  :)  I was NOT feeling well Tuesday & Mrs. Sebastian stepped up & dismissed my kids from Encore & Ms. Humphreys watched them for me on the playground so I could go to the Dr.   I appreciated it SO VERY MUCH!  :)  I continue to LOVE how much our team shares with each other!  :)  Mrs. Coode let me use her pencil sharpener twice this week.  :)

Miss Mady & Gracyn helped me in my classroom one afternoon.  My Boo Bear helped me make copies and this morning she helped me make 10 trains for my kids for Math.  I love getting to go to school with her everyday-it is such a blessing & joy!  :)

The kids are starting to get into this AOK thing & THEY came up with 6 people to make Get Well cards for this week-I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that they are beginning to think this way-that's what our project is all about!  :)  My kiddos earned 12 Hard at Work tickets in the last two weeks!  :)  

We finished up our week of AOKs by doing our weekly recycle for K & 1st.  :)

Week 4-1 Month In! (358)

We're a month in & cruising right along!  :)

I gave The Klickas a Congrats card on the birth of their new, beautiful baby Elias.  We recycled an ink cartridge to help save the planet.  :)  We brought in Pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house.  Aditi brought in Box Tops 3 times this week.  :) Mady gave Mrs. Huff a Tuesday pick me up.  :)  Mady & I did another Giving Plate w/ chocolate, banana muffins to Nana & she shared them w/ her other volunteers at KARM.  :)  We gave Auntie Stephanie a present for her new baby coming in November.  :)  We sent Gram-Gram a BD card.  :)  We also gave Ethan Tyler a BD card.  We gave NaNa a Grandparent's Day gift.  We also mailed Gram-Gram & Pop-Pop their Grandparent's Day gift.  :)  The kiddos also made their grandparents two sweet, little hand print gifts for Grandparent's Day & Miss Sloan came to our rescue when we started to do the project & I realized that our paint was yucky-she generously loaned us some paint to use!  :)  We gave Mom a couple of coupons/samples.  Mrs. Stewart was having a rough day yesterday so I brought her CFA for Breakfast this a.m.  Miss Mady let me use ANOTHER one of her books today for a Realism vs. Fantasy lesson.   

Mrs. Smith brought me a D. Coke & I used it for Football Friday-bonus!  ;) I got a love note from sweet Jalayiah.  :)  She also made me a princess crown.  ;) Mrs. Humphreys gave us two boxes of Band aids-which we BADLY needed!  :)  

Today was a busy, crazy day BUT we did have time to recycle for K & 1st grade.  :)
