Week 19-Merry Christmas! (1,173)

I LOVE this time of year!  I also love the addition of Rosy our Christmas Angel this year-it's been nice to get AOK "assignments" to help us focus on others this holiday season.  :)  

My class really knows how to make a girl feel loved!  I have gotten 8 Christmas presents this week!  I  also got one from Mrs. Dew & 1st grade gave one to her as well.  :)  I got 3 love notes from my kids this week as well.  :)

Miss Sloan loaned Mady & I some paint so Mady could make a reindeer shirt-it turned out SUPER CUTE!  :)  Mrs. Stewart gave us two bags of Christmas goodies & Mrs. Sebastian gave us one as well.  :)  Mrs. Huff let me borrow her Snowman @ Night book for a lesson this week.  :)

Miss Sloan got engaged over the weekend so we gave her a Congrats card.  :)  We also gave Mrs. Boyce a Get Well card-she had the nasty stomach bug that's been going around.  :P  I gave Mrs. DePew & one of my student's sympathy cards-they both lost someone special this week.  :(  We gave Mrs. Yoder a 60th Happy BD card.  :)

Mrs. Nemeth gave us a cookie tin & Mrs. Williams gave us a  sharing plate so this weekend we made Christmas cupcakes & gave some back to those fine ladies.  :)  I gave Mrs. Harkleroad a coupon & some sweet tart gummies (her fav right now).  :)  Mady's Christmas Angel had her give a Teddy Bear to some kids in need.  She had her donate some gloves to someone that needed them.  Mady chose her friend Kiley b/c she had just lost some.  She picked pink b/c that's her favorite color.   I love it when she thinks of things all on her own.  :)  We also picked someone else in Mrs. Smith's room as well.  :)  Luke brought in some Box Tops for our school.  Brianna's parents helped with our Christmas party & donated stuff for the prize bin, Kleenex & glue.  Julius's Mom donated stuff for our class too.    Mady let Mrs. Hall use her Polar Express book.  Mrs. Sebastian went & got popcorn for all of the 1st grade!  Mrs. Stewart had hall duty so Mady & I put her popcorn bags together.  Mrs. Manhardt called our room & told us about a very special delivery we got from the North Pole today!  Mrs. Stewart went & got pizza for all of us to share at lunch today & then she gave me some leftovers for dinner.  YUM!  :)

Like I said-it's the most WONDERFUL time of the year!  :)

Week 18-'Tis the Season! :) (1,135)

'Tis the season for Acts of Kindness!  :)  I LOVE this time of year-it's such a great time of year to be able to share Acts of Kindness with others.  :)  This year we got Mady a Christmas Angel.  Mady named her Rosy.  :)  Her angel gives her AOK assignments some days & gifts some days-it's been very fun & is helping us all to focus on others during the holiday season.  :)

   We had the opportunity to donate to a family in need.  :)  We mailed my brother & sis-in-law's Christmas present.  :)  I gave my Mom two coupons.  I gave my friend Nicole a sympathy card-her kitty passed away.  :( 

I gave Mrs. Boyce & our room mom a gift.  Julius gave his Read w/ Me volunteer a gift & a thank-you card for the other volunteers.  We gave Miss Sonja a gift as well.  :)  We've also been having fun continuing Mrs. Huff's 12 Days of Christmas presents.  :)  

   My Mom watched Mady for us so we could do Mady's Christmas shopping with out her.  :)  Jacob's Mom donated some stickers & prizes for the prize bin to our class.  Jacob brought in some Box Tops for our class.  :)  I got 8 love notes this week.  :)  Mrs. Williams gave us a giving plate & Mrs. Nemeth gave us a cookie tray so that worked out perfectly!  ;)  We're doing our Secret Pal reveal  & mine is Mrs. Jackson-she sure does know how to spoil a girl!  I gave mine (Mrs. Cogdill) some yummy holiday Reese Christmas trees.  :)  School provided breakfast for us twice this week & Mrs. Schlomer brought first grade bagels-YUMMY!  :)  The office staff gave us two leave early slips-I've enjoyed using mine the last two Fridays-it's given us time to do our those extra seasonal errands!  :)

Finally, we did our recycling for K & 1st grade.  :)

Week 17-Over 1,000!!! (1,076!)

This week we came back from Thanksgiving & just like that it's December-the most wonderful time of the year!  :)

We gave some pumpkins to a friend so they could deseed them & use them for pumpkin pies on Christmas.  We had Mrs. Harkleroad's class over when one of their friends got sick & their room had to be clean.  We let them use our nice, clean room for Math night-we even got a compliment about how clean it was. :)  We've been getting into the spirit of things by working on gifts for the kiddo's parents.  We have our gift bags complete & our first presents done-exciting times!  ;)   Mady has been having fun being my little elf & delivering presents to my first grade coworkers & friends.  :)  She has also been delivering Mrs. Huff some fun "12 Days of Christmas" gifts this week-she did Day 1 & 2.  

I gave a friend that's expecting a Congrats card & 5 coupons.  I gave my Mom two coupons.  We donated pop tabs to the Student Council for Ronald McDonald house.  

My secret pal gave me a cup filled with cocoa packets-perfect for watching those Christmas movies!  

The Sea Crew & Mrs. Harkleroad let us have some baby wipes because we're out.  I got two love notes this week.  :)  Jacob brought in some glue for our classroom.  :)  Mrs. Coode let me use her pencil sharpener this week.  Mr. H.  helped me with school stuff.  :)  Some of my coworkers watched my class while one of my meetings ran over.  :P  Ms. Humphreys gave me some Ibuprofen when my throat was hurting.  

Finally, we did recycling for K & 1st grade.  :)

Week 16-Happy Thanksgiving! :) (988!)

Happy Thanksgiving!  I have SO VERY much to be Thankful for!  :)  

My sweet Boo made 4 Thanksgiving cards for the people in her life she loves the most.  :)  We gave Mrs. Huff a Thanksgiving card-we are SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED to have her in our lives!  :)  I wrote Thankful messages for my class & Mady, Shawn & my Mom.  (like I said, I have SO VERY much to be Thankful for!).  :)  We donated Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald house.  My kiddos made Thanksgiving cards for someone that they are thankful for.  :)  Mady let us use two of my favorite Thanksgiving books this week.  :)

My sweet BFF Nicole watched Mady for me last week when I had Caller Duty & it was WAY to cold for Boo to stand outside with me.  Mady loves to hang out with her Auntie, Ethan & Blakers.  :)  Mrs. Sloan let us borrow paint for our Christmas projects.  I got 3 love notes from my kiddos.  Mrs. Frady gave my kiddos the sweetest note for letting her come watch a lesson.  :)  Mrs. Depew & Mrs. Sebastian gave me some bread left over from their Stone Soup-YUM!  :)

Like I said-we have SO VERY much to be THANKFUL for!
