Wk 35-1,423!

This wk we had the pleasure of recycling for K & 1st grade twice since we couldn't last wk due to the rain.  It was a GREAT way to celebrate Earth Day!  :)
 I loaned Hooray for Diffendorfer Day to Mrs. Crawford's class for TCap testing.  :)
PTSA provided all kinds of treats for testing this wk.  :) Mrs. Stewart brought me a CFA biscuit today-YUMMY!  :)  My Mom stayed late Thursday to "entertain" Mady so I could balance my checkbook & write out bills.  :)  She also offered to keep Mady so I could go to the grocery store by myself & she cooked dinner for us too!  :)  I don't know what I'd do w/o my Momma!  :)

Wk 34-We Were SUPER DUPER BUSY w/ AOKs this Wk! :) (1,390!)

This wk we were INCREDIBLY busy with AOKs & that's just the way we like it!  :)  I gave a sympathy card to Miss Bock-her father passed away recently.  :(  I also gave a Congrats card to a friend of mine that found out she's expecting!  :)  Braydon made Mady a card this wk-it looked like Rapunzel & she LOVED it!  :)  I got a BD card/present from Conner & his family-it was SO SWEET to be remembered!  :)  I also got 3 other BD cards from some of my sweet kiddos!  :)  I sent four Thank-You cards to the chaperones that went on our field trip last wk.  :)  Madylyn's class is supporting a little girl in Guatemala-they are focusing on clean drinking water & schooling.  This makes my heart EXTREMELY HAPPY!
We have adopted Mrs. Crawford's class for T-Cap testing next wk.  We made them "inspirational" water, cookies, smarties, kisses & Cheerios (all with inspirational msgs, that will remind them that they are going to do their best on their testing this wk!)  *I bought double everything so when it's our turn for testing in a couple of wks-we'll have the exact same treats! ;)
We also wrote thank-you cards to the firefighters that came & visited our classrooms this wk for Community Helper week.  Their visit was AWESOME!  :)  We really appreciate Miss Peeler for arranging it!
Finally, allergy season is upon us & we ran out of tissues this wk.  :P  The Sea Crew was nice enough to give us 2 boxes!  :)
Alas, we didn't get to recycle Friday b/c it was POURING down rain-but maybe tomorrow!  :)

Wk 33-1,254 :)

This wk we sent a Get Well card to Ms. Fitzpatrick's father.  He had open heart surgery.  We are wishing him a complete & speedy recovery!  We also recycled this wk for 1st & K.  :)

Wk 32-Spring Has Sprung (Hopefully!) ;) 1,238

I gave Mrs. Smith some lunch box cards for her sons for the upcoming T-Cap/SAT 10 tests.  I gave a coupon to Miss Peeler & Mrs. Goodwin.  I gave Miss Moody a sympathy card b/c her kitty passed away.  :(  I gave Mrs. Sebastian a new home Congratulations card.  :)  I gave Miss Stec a book that she can use for an activity she does with her class.  :)  I also gave my Kroger gas rewards card to Mrs. DePew.  We also got to recycle for K & 1st grade this week as well.
Mr. Holloway had a coworker give him some box tops for our class.  :)  Mrs. K.  also put up a new Word Wall for our classroom.  :)
